Welcome to College Hill

Let Go and Let God

Message from the Pastor

Thursday, April 28, 2011

As I write this message my heart is heavy because our worship and praise center has been destroyed by an EF4 tornado.  I am thankful that we did not have any members to lose their lives.  Those who lost material possessions know that God will sustain them and those things will be replaced.  Please take the time to thank God that things are as well as they are.  Pray for those families that lost loved ones in this violent storm.  Let me encourage all of you to “Let Go Let God.”  He is our provider, our healer, and our deliver.  You have heard me say countless times, “All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called unto his purpose.” Romans 8:28.  I want to thank our friends of the University Church of Christ and Pastor Shun Smith for opening their doors and allowing us to worship in their church.  They have been the true example of Christian friends.  Please note, the College Hill Church family is resilient.  We will bounce back and rebuild on our present site.  God has already given us the vision for the church he wants us to build.  We will recover and continue to do the work of the Lord inTuscaloosa Alabama.  Keep us in your prayers and we will pray that all is well with you our friend.  May God’s peace be with you now and forever more!
